Glilot Center is a vibrant home for contemporary culture and creative communities in the city. Spanning 2,000 square meters, it includes a performance hall, exhibition spaces, dance and art studios, workshops, a recording studio, co-working areas, and an open terrace with sweeping views and a sea breeze.
We developed a visual identity and original design language rooted in the center’s essence – its activity, energy, and community. The design draws from theater, stage, and cinema, while embracing local creativity, daily use, and a sense of belonging. The icon system features three-dimensional forms inspired by cultural objects – like a stage, book, screen, or microphone – kept open to interpretation. Isometric views and bold compositions give each icon a theatrical presence, enhanced by colorful, dramatic shadows that suggest motion and emotion.
The signage system echoes early 20th-century cinema marquees, using interchangeable wood tracks, solid timber frames, bold type, and multilingual icons. Designed to align with the city’s visual identity, it adds strong, material presence while remaining functional and adaptable.
Glilot Center is a dynamic platform for live culture, creative exchange, and multidisciplinary encounters – open daily to local initiatives and new connections. The core values of the community center – and therefore its brand – are community, professionalism, boldness, culture, uniqueness, locality, and inclusive accessibility.
