Neve Eliezer

Community Center

Neve Eliezer Community Center offers a wide range of activities, programs, and workshops aimed at fostering personal, social, and communal growth for residents of the Neve Eliezer, Nir Aviv, Neve Chen, Livneh, Kfir, and Kfar Shalem neighborhoods in Tel Aviv-Yafo.

Located at the heart of a richly diverse area – where people of different ages, backgrounds, and histories live side by side – the center works in close partnership with local residents and community institutions. These varied communities coexist in different ways, sometimes closely connected, sometimes apart, but always equal in value. This human diversity is a defining feature of the neighborhood.

The conservatory and dance school provide meaningful opportunities for cultural and social encounters through creative expression. Guided by the belief that every child deserves a high-quality, joyful, and immersive cultural experience, the programs bring the world of culture – often seen as exclusive – into the heart of the neighborhood, embracing the local and familiar.

The center’s wayfinding system was designed to reflect values of warmth, belonging, enjoyment, authenticity, and local identity. Colorful hand-drawn illustrations of imaginary creatures wander through neighborhood landmarks – iconic buildings, storefronts, and vegetation – bringing the space to life. Printed on transparent plexiglass layers at varying depths, the illustrations create a rich sense of movement and depth.

A freehand line weaves between the elements like a symbolic thread – connecting communities, timelines, and stories, and reflecting the human and cultural layers that shape life in the neighborhood.
