Our studio specializes in designing complete graphic packages for documentary films, working in close collaboration with the filmmakers. Most projects includes a full visual suite: title design, opening and closing screens, on-screen typography, and end credits. In parallel, we develop a range of digital and print assets – including posters, email invitations, social media posts, and cover images adapted for platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
Designing a poster for a documentary film differs fundamentally from designing for fiction. Without relying on actors or dramatic plotlines, the visual language must distill complex themes, emotions, and perspectives into a single, compelling image. The poster becomes a conceptual entry point – a visual synopsis that conveys the essence of the story and invites critical engagement.
A key part of the process involves crafting a typographic identity that functions seamlessly both in print and on screen. More than just a container for information, the typography defines the film’s graphic voice – anchoring its presence across all formats, from festival screenings to digital outreach.
Our portfolio includes both local and international productions such as High Maintenance / Dani Karavan, Comrade Dov, and Time Machine — RockFour, all of which have been screened at major film festivals and received broad recognition.
